he's back!!!

Today we welcomed our beloved golden retriever, Alex, back home!!! He has been with my mom since late February due to the moves (yes that is meant to be plural). Anyhow, guess who is beside himself excited to have his dog back....Ethan! Man's best friend is currently busy being toddler's best friend.

14 Months....

14 Months has snuck upon us...so much in fact, I didn't do a 13 Month Photo:( I guess July's heat has gone to my brain. I decided this month to do yet another diaper photo since this is what I seem to keep Ethan in lately. These photos were taken today right after the pool. I thought what better way to capture 14 months than our typical summer day...just in from playing outside. That sunscreen baby smell...my favorite! At 14 months Ethan is eating less and less every day and on-the-go even more. His new favorite food: strawberry shredded wheat cereal. He is talking more and more everyday. He is starting to jumble "sentences" which no one, other than baby bear, can decipher. He in between the 2 naps or 1 afternoon nap. His new favorite game is chase the cat, in which he is winning lately. He caught Moli off guard the other morning and was trying to pull her by her tail like his little dog on a lease that he pulls around. He has found it hilarious to lock her in cabinets. Well...at least David and I think it is hilarious. I am trying to make his room more "toddler-like." Check out his new train sheets....






Oh and yes, of course Potterybarn Kids makes a toddler sheet and pillowcase to match. I just couldn't go that far with the big boy stuff just yet.

Ethan is turning into this cuddly little, I just wanna give you a kiss mommy, kind of boy. And this mommy, well, she is loving it! Amazing how they can melt your heart isn't it.
