I can't help but to think back to this time last year and our family was prepping for a huge wedding. While the wedding may not have been large in size, it was a big deal to us to have every single one of us in the family in the wedding and involved. The wedding was a week event of family time and celebration. Recently my sister's wedding was featured in little well known blog Style Me Pretty. You can read the article here. You should check out the cute shaggy haired little blonde boy in the suspenders! We had so much fun preparing and celebrating that week. Hard to believe Whitney and Jon will be celebrating their first anniversary soon.

wedding mention...
Remember that beautiful wedding we were in last summer at Rosemary Beach? It
was recently mentioned on a blog and my little beach bum Ethan was featured. I am fairly certain he looks more California than Nashville! Whitney planned such a lovely wedding...every detail was thought out and executed perfectly. You can see the blog HERE.
If you are wondering why I am making such a crazy face in photo above, this was snapped when I saw Ethan for the first time after the ceremony. He had been with the groomsmen all day and I was so proud of him and how well he did. David dressed him and it was the first time I had seen him with his little suspenders.
"I'll eat you up I love you so!"

rewind to rosemary {beach bonfire & rehersal dinner}
{beach bonfire}
Whitney and Jon welcomed their guests to their wedding weekend by hosting a beach bonfire. The weather rained and then stopped in time for us to kick off the celebration beach side. The lightening after the storm was pretty incredible over the ocean.

The rehearsal took place on the beach followed by a poolside dinner.
Keeping Ethan out of the pool was quite a feat. He ended
up with half wet short and dripping wet shoes:)

rewind to rosemary...
Back in June we took a family vacation to Rosemary to watch my sister {in law} get
married. We had a lovely week at the beach with family and friends.
The wedding would have Martha Stewart's approval. The bride was simply
stunning. And we had a fabulous time.
Here are a few photos from our week before the wedding festivities started...

Jessica's Wedding...
Sunday I was honored to be a bridesmaid for my dear friend Jessica. What an elaborate, gorgeous wedding it was let me tell you. The traditional Indian wedding was held at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center. I was a little nervous to wear the sari that showed my stomach, but I quickly forgot about that as I focused on performing a gangham style dance and giving a speech at the reception in front of 200 people. Actually, I loved wearing the sari...it was comfortable and easy to dance in. I gave a quote from Sex and the City for my speech since Jessica and I have been watching the show before the rest of the world picked up on it. David and I participated with 3 other couples at the wedding in marriage game in which we won {according to David}. The food was delicious, the cake was scrumptious, the music was great, and I had the best time dancing. Best of all it is amazing to watch a best friend marry a great guy and know she is getting her happy ever after.
