As I finish up my third trimester of pregnancy I have a new hobby: soaking in my tub. We recently added these new shutters to our bath...which came in several boxes via UPS for my hubby to assemble. Yes, he was thrilled. Give me a good book, bubbles, and smell-good lotion and I am off to a good night.

little shoes....
i think i have slight obsession with buying Ethan shoes anyway...
then my mum sends him this pair from Crew Cuts...
so then I stumbled across these adorable finds
and who said dressing little boys wasn't as fun?
They just don't know where to shop!
home...
Can I say how good it feels to be home today?
After a bizarre 3 days where people out in the world say mean things...
home is good--- especially when I am hanging with these two guys.
now if we can teach others to ...
not say anything at all unless it nice just like your momma told you
we all might smile a little more

one last Christmas post...
yes, I know the season has come and gone. However, do you ever feel like you blog random things and not what is actually happening in your world? I just wanted to share a few favorite moments from our Christmas this year...
watching Ethan fall in love the book and movie The Polar Express
baking treats with Ethan
watching Ethan's joy when David put our train around the tree
again, watching Ethan watch the train go round and round
only my husband would use a chalk gun to build our gingerbread house!
making homemade gingerbread cookies for Santa...
having a Christmas Eve Tradition that has gone on for years and years...
making our own traditions
Christmas morning cuddles
having Maw-Maw's chocolate syrup over biscuits on Christmas morning...
singing for dinner in Atlanta...can you guess what we sang?
these elf house shoes...and the joy of playing with your cousins:)
Digger!
watching Ethan with his grandparents...yep only Grandma is allowed to fetch his milk!
this moment of Ethan taking our picture with our Nikon as we opened gifts!
"monster daddy monster"...my sweet husband letting 3 kids ride his back at once
Ethan meeting an airplane pilot for the first time...AKA Uncle Ronnie
and for me the anticipation of having two sweet little boys next Christmas!

Happy New Years...
Happy New Year! You can't start the new year without looking back at your previous year...
2011 was a big year for us as a family. 2011 jump started quickly for us as David found himself umemployed...which propelled him forward into starting his own company Dogwood Homes. I couldn't be more proud of what he has accomplished and how much one man can balance. We celebrated our 5th wedding Anniversary in Maui as a family of three. Came home to find ourselves growing to family of four--- biggest news of our year!
We celebrated Ethan's 2nd birthday and find ourselves thankful everyday for him. You never know how much love you can have for a person until have your own child. He brings us more smiles and laughs in one day than most people have in a month. He has had a very big year himself: swimming, starting dayschool, potty training, losing his pacifier, and conversating. We can't wait to see him in his new role as big brother.
When writing this post I came across these photos of Ethan that were taken in Maui. I had planned to post them to the blog and never published them because we were flying home when I made the post.
So I says cheers to your New Year with my non-alcoholic glass of bubbly!
